Les Pics du Louron et du Luchonnais forment une zone touffue très importante, pour l'essentiel de géologie granitique, mais pas pas partout. Les hauteurs de Saint-Lary comprennent quelques pics peu visités; certains, faits depuis l'Espagne, vous plongeront dans la solitude la plus complète.
Plus loin, cette zone continue vers le reste du Luchonnais, que je n'ai malheureusement presque pas visité, lui-même connecté à la Maladeta et aux Posets, les deux plus hautes montagnes des Pyrénées, toutes deux en Espagne.

The Pics of Louron and Luchonnais form a dense area of great importance, most of it of granitic geology, but not all. The heights of Saint-Lary region include some places very little visited; some of them, climbed from Spain, will plunge you in the most complete solitude.
Later, this area continues to the rest of Luchonnais, which unfortunately I have almost not visited, itself connected to the Maladeta and Posets, the two highest mountains in the Pyrenees, both in Spain.
