Courte ascension, qui nous mène mine de rien à 2800m, et qu'il convient de faire en boucle, en utilisant les deux itinéraires du lac de Catchet et du sentier de Port de Bielsa. Deux petits km les séparent sur la route du tunnel de Bielsa, et pour les amateurs de levers de soleil, l'ordre qui convient est surement celui qui commence par le lac.
Small ascent, that leads us near 2800m anyway, and that should be done in a loop, using the two itineraries of the lake Catchet and the Port de Bielsa path. Two small kilometers are separating them on the road of the Bielsa Tunnel, and for the sunrise amateurs, the right order might be the one beginning by the lake.
Arrivé au lac juste à temps ! Les pics d'en face, dont le Campbiel rougissent et se reflètent sur la surface du lac de Catchet. Arriving to the lake just in time ! The peaks overthere, including the Campbiel, get red and reflect on the lake Catchet surface.
Ce versant là du Pic Garlitz impose tout de même quelques acrobaties et un peu de prudence. A gauche, panorama Nord avec le duo des pics Bastan-Portarras. A droite, les pics de Gerbat et de La Géla surplombent la grande muraille de Baroude. Au fond, le Vignemale.

En jetant son regard au Sud-Est, de l'autre côté, c'est le cirque du Moudang, ici avec le petit lac de Hechempy, guère plus grand que le lac de Catchet, et les Granges du Moudang, objectifs d'une promenade célèbre, ici minuscules. When looking South-East, on the other side, it is the corrie of the Moudang, here with the small lake of Hechempy, a not bigger one than the lake Catchet, and the Moudang Barns, aim of a famous little walk, here microscopic.
