Tatranská Javorina


Cette page est un peu un fourre-tout, où je veux à la fois vous faire découvrir un itinéraire routier, un petit village, et une excursion. Tatranská Javorina est un tout petit village assez joli, situé non loin de Ždiar, et constitue surtout un point de départ exceptionnel pour un grand éventail de randonnées... Cet endroit est situé dans un confin de la Slovaquie qui a la particularité d'être entièrement versant Nord, le versant Polonais, pays dont il est d'ailleurs à deux pas.

This page is a bit like a scrapbook, where I would like to present you in the same time a road itinerary, a little village, and also a walk. Tatranská Javorina is a very small village quite pretty, located not far from Ždiar, et makes above all a fine starting point for a wide range of walks... This place is located in a remote corner of Slovakia which has the particularity to be located entierely in the northern mountainside, the Polish side, country from which it is very close.

Tout d'abord, précisions que c'est l'itinéraire passant la frontière par Jurgów et Podspády qui est à la fois le plus pratique, et le plus joli (à prendre dès Nowy Targ). Ici, dans la grande ligne droite, nous avons une magnifique vue sur les Tatras Blanches. A droite, l'église en bois de Jurgów qui mérite un petit arrêt.
First of all, let's mention that the itinerary crossing the border through Jurgów et Podspády is the most convenient, and also the nicest (take it from Nowy Targ). Here, in the long straight line, we get a fine view to the White Tatras. On the right, the wooden church of Jurgów which makes a little stop worth.

Nous y sommes. A Javorina, ce qui est le plus joli, c'est de loin cette superbe église en bois, pour ma part c'est ma préférée de toutes.
Here we are. In Javorina, the most beautiful, that's this superb wooden church, personally it's my favourite.

Le (très) petit village de Javorina, où il existe 2 ou 3 possibilités pour se loger, dont celle-ci (je n'ai pas encore essayé).

Je vous propose à présent une courte ballade hivernale dans la vallée Javorová Dolina, jusqu'à Pod Muránom. C'est le début du trek de 2004, fait en été.

Arrivés à Pod Muránom. Mentionnons aussi qu'outre Kopské Sedlo, un autre magnifique sentier à cet embranchement mène vers Sedlo Sedielko, la bas au fond à droite.
Arrival at Pod Muránom. Le's mention that apart from Kopské Sedlo, another wonderful trail leads from this junction towards Sedlo Sedielko, far overthere in the right.
Ouvert jusqu'ici, c'est l'un des rares à l'être l'hiver dans les Hautes Tatras Slovaques.
Open until this point, it is one of the very few trails in the Slovak Hautes Tatras to be allowed in winter.

Sur le haut de la butte, en allant vers Lysá Poľana (Łysa Polana), en face de l'hôtel Kolowrat, jolie vue sur les Tatras Blanches, alors qu'un orage se prépare.

A Lysá Poľana (Łysa Polana), poste frontière (ex-poste depuis Schengen), "Slovenska Republika", annonce fièrement le panneau marine étoilé flambant neuf. Nous franchissons la Biela Voda, frontière naturelle entre les deux pays.
At Lysá Poľana (Łysa Polana), border toll (ex-toll since Schengen), "Slovenska Republika", announces proudly the new blue sign with stars. We cross by foot, the Biela Voda, natural border between the two countries.

Le même endroit, l'hiver. Witam w Polsce z nowu ! De là, on peut aller, au choix, vers Rusinowa Polana, la vallée des 5 Lacs, le surpeuplé Morskie Oko ou encore la grandiose Bielovodská Dolina.
The same place, in winter. Witam w Polsce z nowu ! From here, you can go, depending on your mood, to Rusinowa Polana, to the 5 Lakes valley, the overcrowded Morskie Oko or the fabulous Bielovodská Dolina.

L'endroit n'a rien à voir, mais je ne savais pas où les mettre... Voici 3 photos de l'église en bois de Św. Krzyża à Rdzawka, au bord de la route peu après Rabka, en allant vers les Tatras.
This last place has nothing to see, but I didn't know where to put it... Here are 3 pcitures of the wooden church of Św. Krzyża in Rdzawka, near the road after Rabka, when going to the Tatras.
