Le programme du second jour consiste à re-basculer dans la vallée des 5 Lacs via le sommet de Świnica, qui, à 2300m, représente l'un des ténors des Tatras Polonaises. En guise d'apéritif, ajoutons Kościelec, le matin, au passage. Une magnifique journée, avec deux sommets emblématiques des Tatras gravis, et un temps absolument parfait durant toute la journée. Les déconvenues de la veille sont oubliées. Ce sont des journées comme celles-ci qui nous donnent de suite le sentiment que la longueur de la route et la persévérance ont été rentabilisés...

The plan for the second day is to re-basculate into the 5 lakes valley through the summit of Świnica, which, at 2300m, is one of the Polish Tatra's tenors. As an aperitif, let's add Kościelec, in the morning, on the way. A magnificent day, with two emblematic summits of the Tatras climbed, as well as an absolute perfect weather during all the day. The disapointments from the day before are forgotten. This are precisely days like that, which make us feel immediately that the length of the journey and obstination were worth it...

Il est 5h du matin, le soleil se lève, ce qui n'a rien d'étonnant vu la saison près du solstice combinée au fuseau horaire. Le déjeuner est déjà avalé, et je quitte la bâtisse rouge de Betlejemka.
It's already 5am, sun is rising and there is nothing strange to this, considering the season near the solstice combined to the time zone. The breakfast is already swallowed, and I am leaving the reddish hut of Betlejemka.

La météo d’hier est bien loin, l’air est pur, cristallin, des gouttes de rosées pendent sur chaque brin d’herbe, et tout fond, loin dans la plaine après Zakopane, une mer de nuages compacte gît recrocquevillée.
Yesterday's weather is already very far, the air is pure, cristalline, drops of dew hang on every single leave of grass, and far ahead, in the end of the plain after Zakopane, a sea of clouds lies compactly.
Le cirque de la vallée Dolina Gąsienicowa est baigné par une magnifique aurore. C'est bel et bien l'heure où il faut démarrer, pour savourer pleinement la solitude montagnarde et apprécier à juste valeur la beauté renommée de ces endroits.
The cirque of the valley Dolina Gąsienicowa is bathed into a magnificent sunrise. This is for sure the time where one must start, to fully savour the mountain solitude and appreciate at its right value the well-known beauty of these places.

Je passe devant le refuge Murowaniec, pour gagner les rives encore désertes du grand lac Czarny Staw Gąsienicowy, dans lequel se reflète la silhouette de Kościelec.
I walk along the refuge Murowaniec, to reach the shores still desert of the wide lake Czarny Staw Gąsienicowy, in which reflects itself the shape of Kościelec.

Dans une solitude encore parfaite, je me dirige sur le petit col "Karb", sur la nervure qui sépare la vallée en deux. A gauche, Czarny Staw Gąsienicowy, à droite, les laquettes de Dwoisty Stawy.
In a still perfect lonelyness, I climb to the little pass "Karb", on the ridge that separates the valley in two. On the left, Czarny Staw Gąsienicowy, on the right, the small lakes of Dwoisty Stawy.
Toujours sur Karb, vue sur la face Ouest qui mène au sommet du pic Kościelec. Derrière à droite, le pic Świnica.
Still on Karb, looking to the Western face which leads to the summit of the Peak Kościelec. Behind on the right, the Peak Świnica.
Côté opposé, vue panoramique sur la vallée Dolina Gąsienicowa, avec la multitude de laquettes. En fond, le pic Kasprowy Wierch, et la forme fourchue de Giewont qui émerge.
On the opposite side, panoramic view to the valley Dolina Gąsienicowa, with its numerous lakes. Behind, the peak Kasprowy Wierch, and the twin-shape of Giewont that justs out.
Le même panorama, vu cette fois-ci du sommet de Kościelec, qui se gravit relativement rapidement depuis Karb.

Toujours du sommet, à 7h du matin, vues sur la crête d'Orla Perć, et sur Świnica.

Je redescend versant Sud de Karb, pour longer Długi Staw, Żielony staw, etc, et entamer le début de la montée vers Świnicka Przełęcz.
I am climbing down the South side of Karb, to walk along Długi Staw, Żielony staw, etc, and start to climb to the pass Świnicka Przełęcz.

Alors que je monte, à la hauteur d'un champ d'éboulis, des marmottes jouent à cache-cache. C'est la première fois que j'en vois dans les Tatras.
While I climb, at the level of a field of screes, some marmots show up here and there. This is the first time I see them in the Tatras

Pour atteindre le sommet de Świnica, le sentier décrit comme une spirale. Le contournement se fait via quelques passages sécurisés nécessitant un peu l'usage des mains...
To reach the top of Świnica, the path describes a sort of spiral. We circumvent the top through some secured passages which require a bit of scramble...

Superbes vues sur Zadni Staw, le dernier de la vallée des 5 lacs, encore à moitié pris dans les glaces à cette saison.
Superb views to Zadni Staw, the last of the 5 lakes valley, still half frozen in this season.

Descente, sous le col Zawrat. Nous longeons Czarny Staw, puis Wielki Staw, le plus grand lac des Tatras toutes entières.
Going down, under the Zawrat pass. We walk along Czarny Staw, then Wielki Staw, the widest lake in the whole Tatras.

Zoom to the snowy Szpiglasowa Przełęcz pass, main meal for tommorow. Probably also the only place which will require the use of the crampons, which made my bag heavier for 2 days now....
