J'ai parcouru ce groupe de montagnes à maintes reprises, pour une bonne et simple raison: sa proximité depuis Glasgow, qui convenait beaucoup aux sorties à la journée lorsque j'étais étudiant, et qu'il fallait rentrer pas trop tard.
Néanmoins, cette zone est loin d'être la plus inintéressante: Loch Lomond, malgré sa touristicité, reste pour moi le plus beau Loch d'Ecosse; sa proximité près de Tarbert avec le Loch Long, le bien nommé en forme Fjord, forme une géographie particulière et fascinante.
Ces montagnes aux bases assez boisées (car les plus "méridionales") n'ont pas une altitude grandiose et proposent pour la plupart le minimum syndical d'un Munro. Mais elles sont cependant assez bien individualisées et inclinées.

I walked this group of mountains in numerous occasions, for a very simple reason : its proximity from Glasgow, which was most convenient for day-trips when I was a student, and that we had to come back not too late.
This area is nevertheless far to be uninteresting: Loch Lomond, despite being touristic, remains in my own opinion the finest of all Scotland; its closeness near Tarbert with the well-named Fjord-like Loch Long, forms a particular and fascinating geography.
These mounains whose base is quite woody (since they are the most "meriodionals" do not have a particularly impressive height, and often propose the strict minimum for a Munro. But they are quite individualised and steep.
