Téryho Chata

Le but de cette journée consiste à atteindre le haut refuge de Téryho Chata (le 3eme plus haut des Tatras, à plus de 2000m). Ici, pas d'eau courante ni de douches. Par contre, bière et vodka à volonté au bar ! Mais avant celà, il nous faudra longer la très touristique Tatraska Magistrala, au pied de la face Sud du Lomnica, et remonter la Malá Studená Dolina.

The aim of today is to reach the high refuge of Téryho Chata (the 3rd highest in Tatras mountains, over 2000m). Here, no tap water neither showers. Despite we get all kind of beer and vodkas at the bar ! But, before that, we have to walk along the very touristic Tatranska Magistrala, on the foot of the South face of the Lomnica, and head into the Malá Studená Dolina.

Un porteur des Tatras. Contrairement à ce que l'on pourrait imaginer, ce n'est pas par économie que les refuges n'utilisent pas d'hélico ici. C'est laisser la faune menacée en paix, et avant tout pour une question d'honneur.
A Tatras sherpa. Contrary to what we could imagine, it is not for any economic reason than huts are not requesting helicopters there. It is in order to leave in peace the fauna, and above all a question of honnour.

Les lacs environnants sont magnifiques, dans un décor granitique tourmenté qui n'est pas sans me rappeller celui des Encantats.
The surrounding lakes are wonderful, in a granitic background which is not without reminding me the Encantats.
Panorama sur le lac le plus grand, derrière le refuge, à la tombée de la nuit. Le lendemain, au lieu de franchir Priečne Sedlo, fond à gauche dans l'ombre, nous rebrousserons chemin pour cause de blessure, et nous emprunterons un itinéraire plus calme par la Tatranska Magistrala. A droite se situe également la brèche Baranie Sedlo, que j'ai renoncé à inclure cette fois ci dans mon parcours car hors sentier, mais que je découvrirai dans 3 ans.

The day after, instead of crossing Priečne Sedlo, at the dark end on the left side, we will turn back because of injury, and we will take the quiter itinerary of Tatranska Magistrala. On the right is also located the breach Baranie Sedlo, which I decided not to include this year in my route because offtrails, but which I will discover in 3 years.
