L'objectif initial était de revenir dans ce massif méconnu, celui où le printemps dernier nous avions exploré les pics de Bacivèr et Marimanha, afin d'ajouter à mon escarcelle les deux pics restants, Bonabé et Moredo.
C'était dans l'hypothèse météorologique la plus favorable, mais sur laquelle j'étais loin de compter. La montée depuis Isil, interminable, en grande partie inintéressante, et qui me laissa sur les rotules, moi et mon sac chargé de bivouac, fut mon autre grosse erreur.
Partir du col de la Bonaigua, par la HRP, est une largement meilleure option, dont je me demande encore pourquoi elle ne m'a pas de suite sauté aux yeux. Malgré tout, cette randonnée qui m'a finalement mené à une simple nuit en haut et à un tour des lacs d'Airoto, m'a fait savourer un sacré moment de solitude grâce à une superbe cabane, dans une merveilleuse ambiance d'Automne montagnard.
The initial aim was to come back in this unknown massif, the one in which during the last spring we explored the peaks of Bacivèr et Marimanha, in order to bag the two remaining peaks, Bonabé and Moredo.
This was in the best meteorologic hypothesis, but in which I didn't believe too much. The way up from Isil, endless, mostly not interesting, and that left me knackered, me and my rucksack filled with bivouac stuff, was my other big mistake.
Starting from the col of Bonaigua, by the HRP, was a far better option, in which I still wonder why it wasn't obvious to my eyes at the first sight. Despite all, this walk that finally led me to a single night upstairs and a loop around the Airoto lakes, allowed me to enjoy a great time of loneliness, with a superb hut, and in a wonderful atmosphere of mountain's Autumn.

La cabane d'Airoto, refuge non gardé de la Fédération Excursioniste de Catalogne. Propreté et état exceptionnel, tout le confort nécéssaire (source, bois mort, matelas...) , probablement la meilleure des cabanes dans laquelle j'ai jamais dormi. Un répit des brumes me laisse un instant espérer au moins le Pic de Moredo. Le chemin à gauche du lac est très pénible à suivre. A short stop of the mist make me hope few moments at least the Moredo peak. The path on the left of the lake is quite hard to follow.

Quelques arbres ressemblent à des torches enflammées, dans ce décor minéral et froid. Few trees look like burning torchs, in this moneral and cold landscape.
On redescend: retour à ce magnifique Estanyoleta d'Airoto, une explosion de couleurs, un véritable tableau. C'était encore plus joli en vrai que sur la photo ! Going down to this wonderful Estanyoleta d'Airoto, a colorful explosion, a real painting. It was even nicer to watch in reality.
