Sgorr Dhearg 1024 m Sgorr Donhuill 1001 m 25/05/01 Quelques RTT combinés avec le pont de l'Ascension me permirent cette escapade Ecossaise à peu de frais, grâce à Ryanair. Bien sûr comme il n'était pas envisageable de partir sans faire quelques Munros, mon choix se porta sur la vallée de Glencoe, qui renfermait encore quelques secrets... Le bus étant mon seul moyen de transport, je décidai de le mettre à profit pour descendre un arrêt plus loin à Ballachulish, et faire ainsi les 2 sommets jumeaux de Ben a'Bheithir, massif qui marque la fin de la vallée. Few rest days combined with some May's bank holidays allowed me this Scottish escape for cheap, because of Ryanair. As it wasn't possible to go without bagging few munros on the way, my choice went to the Glencoe Valley, which was still keeping some secrets... As the bus was my only way of transport, I decided to use it for stepping down one stop further at Ballachulish, and then do these 2 twin tops of Ben a'Bheithir, massif that marks the end of the valley.

En suivant un chemin qui mène au Gleann a'Chaolais, par où se fera la montée, et qui contourne la base de Sgorr Dhearg. Vers la fin de la montée, près du col, dans les parages de Sgorr Donhuill, quelque petite laquette sans nom.
Following a path leading to Gleann a'Chaolais, where will be the climb, and that circumvent the foot of Sgorr Dhearg. At the end of the climb, near the col, around Sgorr Donhuill, some little loch without name.

En m'aventurant encore un peu à l'Ouest pour appercevoir la mer avant d'attaquer la traversée.

Vue sur Sgorr Dhearg, au début et au milieu de la traversée. Dès lors un fin crachin tombera, rendant toute photo impossible... quel dommage ! Vers Sgorr Bhan dans la redescente, le crachin deviendra trombes d'eau, et je serai à deux doigts de retourner à Glasgow de dégoût...
View to Sgorr Dhearg, at the beginning and in the middle of the traverse. From there a misty rain will start to fall, making any picture impossible... what a pity ! Near Sgorr Bhan on the way down mist will become pouring rain, and so disapointed that I was nearly to get back to Glasgow...
