Pilsko

A l'occasion d'un déplacement en Silésie, et voyant les prévisions enfin optimistes, je glissai malicieusement l’idée d'une petite escapade dans les Beskides. « Pilsko », sommet débonnaire, fut choisi pour sa facilité, et sa rapidité d’accès : la double voie jusqu’à Bielsko Bala nous y dépose en 1h30. C’est à la fois le voisin et la copie miniature de Babia Góra où nous sommes allés lors du pont fin Mai. Il se situe sur la frontière Slovaque aux confins de la région de Żywiec, ville où est fabriquée la bière renommée.

In the occasion of a travel to Silesia, watching the finally optimistic weather forecast, I suggested maliciously the idea of a quick go to the Beskides. « Pilsko », modest sommit, was chosen for its easiness, and its rapidity of access : the double carrageway until Bielsko Bala drop you there in 1h30. It is in the same time the neighbour and the reduced scale of Babia Góra where we went during the bank holiday of Mai. It is located on the Slovak border on the edge of the Żywiec region, town where is made the world famous beer.

Au col Przełęcz Glinne, au dessus de Korbielów, le parking et départ du sentier.
At the col Przełęcz Glinne, upstream from Korbielów, the car park and the trail starts.

Entrée dans la forêt, une magnifique hêtraie-chênaie dont les couleurs annoncent l'automne...
Entering the forest, a wonderful beech and oak grove, whose colours announce the autumn.

...Qui se transforme rapidement en une forêt de résineux immenses.
...Which rapidly transforms into a immense coniferous forest.

Nous montons toujours dans ce sous-bois aussi beau qu'un palace.
We keep going in this endless wood as beautiful as a palace.
La hauteur des résineux rétrécit au fur et à mesure que l'on monte, et aux 3/4 du chemin, au niveau d'un ressaut, la vue s'ouvre enfin.
The height of the trees decrease as we keep climbing, and at the 3/4 of the path, near a big step, the view finally opens.

Alors que l'inclinaison s'estompe sur le dôme sommital, de la forêt il ne subsiste plus qu'une végétation rêche. Au loin, Babia Góra.
While the steepness gets easier on the summit dome, from the forest remains only a rough vegetation. Far ahead, Babia Góra.

Nous descendons par le chemin Nord.
We go down by the North trail.
Vue à l'Ouest sur le reste des Beskides, dont la hauteur va décroissant.
Looking West to the rest of the Beskides, whose height goes smaller.

Fruits de l'automne sur les branches, et étrange champignon dans la forêt.

Au retour, au bord de la rivière non loin de Mutne, près de Żywiec.
On the way back, on the shore of the river near Mutne, not far from Żywiec.
