Rares sont les sentiers qui ne se terminent pas en quelque via ferrata, dans les Alpes Kamniške, ce qui donne des courses très sportives, un massif sauvage à souhait et peu couru. En ce qui nous concerne, le programe consista en l’une des rares randonnées tranquilles ne nécéssitant pas l’usage les mains, c’est à dire suivre la crête qui lie Velika Planina au coeur du massif. Néanmoins, ce parcours comporte de nombreux dos d’ânes, et nous jugeâmes bon de terminer au sommet de Konj, sommet débonnaire de 1800m, mais qui offre un panorama de tout premier ordre sur les immensités blanches, désertiques et accidentées des Alpes Kamniške.

Very few trails do not end in some via ferrata in the Kamniške Alps, which makes most of the climbs very sporty, hence a very wild range, not very frequented. As for us, the program consisted in one of the very few quiet walks, which do not involve some scramble, and which consists in following the main ridge that links Velika Planina to the heart of the range. Anyway, this route involves a fair number of ups and down, and we found ourselves happy in ending it in the last top of Konj, modest summit of 1800m, but whose views offer a first class panorama to the white and desertic immensities of the Kamniške Alps.

Au fond, Ostrica. Nous avions initialement envisagé de nous en approcher de plus près, mais la fatigue et surtout les horaires du téléphériques ont freiné nos ambitions.

A mi-chemin vers Konj, bâtiments près de Planina Dol, col qu'il est visiblement possible d'atteindre en voiture.
About half way to Konj, buildings near Planina Dol, pass which we can apparently reach by car.
Nous sautons encore quelques étapes pour nous retrouver au sommet de Konj, soudainement plus près du coeur du massif des Alpes Kamniške. A gauche, au loin, le Grintavec, point culminant.

La suite du sentier qui mène vers Ostrica. Ce n'est pas encore de la Via Ferrata mais ça commence à être intéressant ! Mais il est déjà tard dans l'aprèm... dommage, j'aurais bien voulu aller plus loin et me faire ce petit bout de sentier aérien.

Au-revoir aux Alpes Kamniške, décidément un coin sauvage des Alpes Slovènes, beaucoup plus que les Alpes Juliennes, et certainement des Alpes tout court. Personellement, ça m'a rappellé un peu l'ambiance de certains coins peu courus des Pyrénées Espagnoles. J'y retournerais volontiers.
Good-bye to the Kamniške Alps, for sure a wild place of the Slovenian Alps, much more than the Julian Alps, and certainly of the whole Alps themselves. Personally, it reminded me a bit of the atmosphere in some places not frequently visited of the Spannish Pyrenees. I would come back with pleasure.
