The long valley of Lądecka was ideal for a snowshoes walk, starting from the little locality of Bielice, real end of the world in the edge of the borders from Czech and Poland. But a strong wind blown away our hopes to climb until Rudawiec, highest point of the surroundings, and we had to satisfy ourselves of a hike going up the valley, finally quite long. What's more we thought it would be unuseful to put the snowshoes on, considering the poor snow at the beginning, which turned out to be finally a mistake as we went further up. However, after examining the map, it turned out that we reached anyway the little summit of Smrek on the border ridge, which, what a coincidence, represents apparently the separation point of 3 waters: respectively, those which flow towards the Baltic, the North sea, and the Danube.
