Achill Island

Achill Island, at the head of county Mayo, is in Ireland what is Isle of Skye in Scotland: lonely on the West, wild, and where people speak Gaellic.

Other similitude, the bridge which links to "its" continent (always all at the scale !). View of Achill sound. When the sun goes down, the emerald island becomes red.

The "Atlantic drive" which follow the coast offers some of the most curious cliffs shapes. Danger: slippy and dirty mud (isn't it Fred ?)

The waves of Atlantic are smashing the cliffs. The facing island, Clare, was the home of Grace O'Malley, queen of the pirates. Some tells that sometimes, we can hear her scream through the walls of Kildownet Castle.

(quelle intuition !)
The sunset from Achill Island is well known... (what an intuition !)
Continuons le voyage ! Keep travelling !
